Does Room Compass take a cut of my client payments?+
No. Connect your own Stripe account and 100% of every client payment goes straight to you. Room Compass only ever charges your own separate monthly subscription — never a percentage of your revenue.
Do I need to connect Stripe to use it?+
No — everything else works the same either way. The only thing that depends on it is your clients' online "Pay Now" button.
Who's actually behind Room Compass?+
Stages Home, LLC — a real staging and design studio, not a software company that's never staged a house. You'll see Stages Home mentioned during Stripe setup; that's why.
Can I change plans or team size later?+
Yes, any time, from Settings → Billing inside the app — no need to contact anyone.
Is it for stagers, designers, or both?+
Both. When you set up your account you choose Staging, Design, or Both, and Room Compass shows only the tools that fit. The price doesn't change with that choice.
